| Shortly after Ansel Adams father had a huge financial loss his father decided to have him home schooled by private tutors. He also worked using color film. Monolith, was created in 1927 using his camera with a dark red filter for more contrast. He was a photographer for 60 years, he was a amateur astronomer after his dad bought him a three inch telescope, he also won many awards for his work and the Sierra Club named a award after him in 1971. I chose this photo because i love the detail and the way that the trees colors are contrasted in the light. |
